CMstat to Lead Configuration Management Training in Singapore
CMstat has been invited by Singapore-based K2B International Pte Ltd. to lead a training course on Configuration Management in Singapore on July 17-19, 2023.
The 3-day course “Configuration Management: Best Practices to Streamline CM Processes in your Operating Environment” will present the essential elements of Configuration Management (CM) and how CM functions work in concert to enable best-in-class management of any type of product that can include hardware, software, facilities, systems, network environments, or processes.

Attendees will gain an understanding of the depth and breadth of CM and its application in varied environments including how CM integrates with other functions such as Quality, Systems Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain. In addition to the essential elements of CM, attendees will also explore implementation strategies, methods of streamlining CM processes (such as Change Management), effective use of metrics, and how to avoid common pitfalls in product management.
Attendees will ultimately appreciate how CM enables the establishment and maintenance of trustworthy configuration data that is crucial for achieving initiatives such as Digital Thread and Digital Twins, making their organizations competitive in today’s marketplace.
Product and project managers, engineers, and other professionals in quality, logistics, and services who create or use configuration-controlled data and documents are invited to attend. The course instructor, Lisa Fenwick, Vice President of CMstat, will share with the attendees real-world examples from over 25 years of experience in implementing CM for various high-tech industries while being an active member in standards authoring teams.
