CMstat Announces Dave Allen as New Aerospace & Defense Industry Ambassador
CMstat has announced the addition of Dave Allen to its team of Configuration Management and Data Management professionals. In his new role Dave will serve as the company’s executive representative and business ambassador to the Aerospace & Defense Industry.
Dave recently retired from Raytheon after 35 years as Director of Configuration and Data Management (CMDM) with over 400 employees in the hardware CM, software CM and DM disciplines. Dave is an Associate Technical Fellow in TechAmerica (now SAE) and served on the G-33 committee writing the earlier versions of EIA-649, the industry standard for CM. Dave is also a certified CM and DM manager with the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). After retirement Dave established a consulting firm (JDA Consulting LLC) where he is a training instructor for CMPIC and now serves CMstat as our Aerospace and Defense Industry Ambassador.
In his spare time Dave coaches high school football where he recently shared: “I enjoy giving back to youth through coaching the game I once played and still enjoy immensely because it instills discipline and teamwork, two important values for the players as they go forward in their professional lives and which served me well in my progressive roles over the years.”
