CMstat is launching an excellent series of courses that explain what Data Management (DM) truly entails and how it plays with other organizational functions to achieve today’s data initiatives. By taking this certification series, you will deepen your value as a practitioner, enable you to step up in digital data strategies, and position yourself to lead your organization forward.
Certification series will present basic and advanced skills relevant to both commercial and government contracting environments. You’ll learn best practices and forward strategies covering the following topics: AI impact on DM, DM and Cybersecurity, Enterprise Data Modeling and Structure, Integrating automated DM practices, Interoperability, CDRL Management and Data Marking, Intellectual Property (IP) protection and data escrow, the DM work breakdown structure, DM functional block breakdown structure, activity-based management and continuous process improvement, and how to use these strategies in challenges - whether you face them in the program or the enterprise architecture paradigms. Your organization will quickly be established as a DM center of excellence. Come and learn with us!
Concepts will be introduced followed by real-world example exercises to solidify your understanding and confidence.
Your instructors include the principal architect and author of ANSI/SAE-859 standard Performance-based Data Management and its companion implementation guide, Handbook 859. The current digital versions of both documents are furnished to students as a part of course costs.
The on-line classes are presented in English will be held virtually. Dates and times for course offerings will be announced on our website and on LinkedIn. Each class is $1,250 USD.
The first class (prerequisite for the Certification Course) is being offered again February 3-5 via Teams from 9am-5pm EST.
Follow on classes needed to earn certification are scheduled for April, June, and September 2025 – more info on these to follow.
